Glendale 1st Ward Trunk or Treat

I was in charge of this years Halloween Party, Dinner, Booths & Trunk or Treat at our Church.

This was a HUGE undertaking and seriously took so much planning and coordination.

Of course with the ward small budget and planning it for hundreds of people sure didn't make things any easier on me.

Each table was topped with a cute little ghost, piece of burlap, 

some black gauze, candy corns & a handful of hilarious Halloween jokes. 

They turned out so cute.

We used lots of cut out bats, balloon spiders (in the corners), lights and lots of other spooky things 

to bring this massive gymnasium together.

Eating tables lined the middle of the room with craft booths & games around the perimeter.

The Food table was on the back wall and overall it had a really great flow.

I made cute signs for all the food items.

 And the main food table even got some Halloween decor. 

So we got creative, really creative. 

I had some wonderful people asked to be on my committee, 

seriously could not have pulled it off with out their help and ideas. 

We had a chili & corn bread cook off with fun prizes for the winners. 

It took all day Friday to set up the gymnasium for Saturdays Festivities.

I'd say we had quite the turn out.

After lots of eating and having fun we did a cute parade with the kids and headed out the door for 

a trunk or treat.  If you don't know what that is is when people decorate the trunks of their cars 

and line them up and the kids trick or treat to all the cars.

Super cute and Luke loved it.

What a SERIOUSLY STRESSFUL night and I was certainly glad to have it over with 

and hear about how much fun everyone had.
