One Nation Under God

We had a fabulous and absolutely relaxing 4th of July. 

It was just us the 3 musketeers as usual. 

(It's sad to be away from family around the holidays but is also fun to make traditions just us)

Since last year we had such a wonderful time at the beach, we did it again. 

This time we went to the Santa Monica Pier. 

It is really quite spectacular. 

I have never seen a Pier with a roller coaster and ferris wheel before. 

We did a lot of relaxing, a lot of eating and some playing too. 

Brandon went shopping for all the food as well as making it and packing it. 

It was such a nice break for me!

I woke up to the cutest little invitation for Luke and I to join him on a adventurous day. 

Then we headed up Scholl Canyon right above our house for some exercising. 

After Luke napped we headed to the Beach for some quality family time.

......& we definitely got it. 

Why does food taste so much better when you don't have to prepare it??

Luke had so much fun with his Daddy, you should have seen those two, inseparable the whole time. 

Later in the day we walked along the pier. 

It's really a sight to see. 

Such a fun day for us & I loved that it fell this year mid week.  

Can't think of a better way to spend my Wednesday. 

Thanks to this man who planned and prepared it all. 

PS even though we were gone the whole day and night Luke did not have one accident!
