California Bound

So we've officially made the move to Southern California.

We had an fun and eventful trip here.  Stopped in St.George and San Diego for a night. 

Luke was a n angel all those hours in the car.  

Our car was so full of stuff that we didn't put in the POD and  even had to tie stuff on the roof.  

I bet we looked pretty funny when we got out of the car with the baby and two dogs.  Here are a few pictures to document the trip.

The front seat was a little occupied.

but the back wasn't much better.

So you can see how excited we were to finally get to San Diego.  

We walked the pier and ate at the amazing Red Marlin.  Which was seriously the most amazing meal as well as being a gorgeous and very romantic setting. 

We had the cutest table right by the water and had our appetizers by the fire pit.  Luke was enthralled.

The next morning we ate at the highly reccomended Claire's on Cedros (thanks Paige).

The claire cakes were seriously the BEST pancakes I've ever had.  

Such a darling place and look how cute my company is.  (Note this was AFTER we took Luke out of his car seat to find a blow out so bad it got all over his car seat)  But hey he cleans up pretty nice eh?

They even let the pups come in and gave them a bowl of fresh water.  If you are ever in San Diego you seriously should seek out this place.  It was superb.

We made a stop at Solana Beach.  So pretty we never wanted to leave. 

The we made it to our NEW HOME!~

We were so excited to see everything was brand new.  

We've been hard at work painting and un-packing.  I'll post some pics of the finished product next time.

Until then we sure so miss all our friends and family.  :)
